Flowers may be a very popular mothers day gift item but to me they’ve lost their appeal somewhat because no matter how beautiful or fresh they are, the truth is they won’t last forever and they’ll be thrown out at one point. When you buy a gift for someone you want them to like it and to be able to use it or enjoy. That’s probably why the prospect of giving a gift to your mom which is going to end up in the trash doesn’t have as much appeal.There are better options out there that can take the place of ordinary flowers like mothers day fruit baskets. They come in all kinds of themes but the ones that feature food are the most popular. They’re available in all kinds of price ranges but to get one that’s truly unique you’re going to have to pay up big time. An easy solution to this would be to try fruit bouquets this year; they’re really affordable and delicious and in my opinion the perfect substitute for mothers day flowers.
